Use Your Habit Tracker in Creative Ways

Why use a habit Tracker?

One of the biggest lessons I have learned as a parent is the absolute need to keep accurate records of everything.

From the time my children were born, I was held responsible to keep account of everything from the number of diapers …..to the amounts of milk consumed …..to the hours of the day they slept.

I thought I was organized before having them….trust me, organization is NOTHING until you have to keep up with tiny humans.

Fast forward into full-on motherhood, with three tiny humans, homeschool, and dare I say….time for myself….tracking activities are basically for sanity and survival.

Passion Planner PDF Inserts

I typically use the Passion Planner for hourly appointments and journaling.

However, one of the cool features they offer is PDF add-ins like the Year in Pixels PDF which is great to use for tracking different things in life.

Planner Sizes

They come in three different sizes:

  • Small – 5.5” x 8.5”
  • Medium – 6.75” x 9.66”
  • Large – 8.5” x 11”

They are meant to fit inside of the different passion planner sizes but they will fit any planner that fits those dimensions.

How to Add the PDF pages to your planner

Some ways to add PDF inserts to your planner include:

  • Washi tape
  • Glue stick to an unused page
  • Print the PDF on a sticky sheet then cut and stick where they work best for you in your planner.

What can I track with a Planner Tracker?

Planner Trackers are great for tracking:

  • Mood
  • Water Intake
  • Menstrual Cycle
  • Exercise days
  • Vitamins

Mom’s Habit Tracker Might look like this:

As a Mom, I’d turn it up a notch and track things like:

  • Spent 1 hour on myself
  • Ate 3 whole meals
  • Slept 6-8 hours
  • Didn’t have to play referee today
  • Someone else cooked
  • Saw a friend
  • Did not use social media
  • Accomplished 3 things on my to-do list
  • Quiet time for prayer/ Bible study
  • Got myself completely ready for the day without feeling rushed

These ideas are just the beginning.

What types of activities or things would you like to look back and reflect on?
